This summer was packed for us and I am finally able to catch my breath! My oldest Son got married, and my middle son left the nest while my daughter started her first year of college. This is definitely the “year of change”. My daughter and I finally took a leap of faith and started our little tee shop on etsy, and, we downsized to move from the home my kids were raised in. There were so many changes in such a short period of time that I still haven’t had time to catch my breath.

I’ve been following a site on face book called “tiny house living” and also reading blogs about people who have downsized and love it. I have wanted to take the plunge for years, and we are finally doing it! I can’t wait to see how it turns out!!! I have read about a huge group of bloggers who follow a guide about owning a total of 100 things or less. Can you imagine? Each sock, every bobby pin, every single thing counts as one point. I am not sure that I will take it that far, but it would be cool to have that kind of self-control.  Do you think you could do it?

We are downsizing drastically, but I can’t bring myself to go that far. Yet. I love our little cabin in the woods, it is darling!  I will let you know how it goes. haha

“Let them eat cake” was handlettered by our close family friend, Joy Kelley (HowJoyfulDesigns) on our large chalkboard signs available in the shop. See link above, or click on the picture.

Here are a few pictures from the wedding. I really love the moments Jessica captured, she really did a fantastic job!!! You can find her on face book, and also her website: www.jessicawarholphotography.com. Enjoy!
